St George's News
Find out what's happening at St George's!
Key Stage 3 music students spent several weeks during lockdown composing original music based on their feelings around the pandemic. The songs varied from emotive instrumentals to high energy and suspenseful electronica, to aching lyrical songs about isolation. After collecting over 140 entries, Miss Bloom narrowed the songs down to the top 11 as a part of the first ever George’s Vision Song Contest. Songs were posted anonymously, and teachers and students were invited to participate in voting in six different categories. The winners in each category received an Amazon gift card, recognition in video format and merits! Congratulations to all of the finalists. It was an incredibly close race!
